My friends and I just had a nightmare there. The owner offered a discount to have us deal directly with him instead of via a travel agent or the Internet. Then we realized there’s no chef, no airconditioning in a poorly ventilated living room, no one on duty at night when drainage was blocked and there’s no ice in the fridge, poor quality food (that explains, cos no chef), topless owner wrapped with a towel intruding and using the swimming pool thinking that we were still sleeping, a dog kept by the cleaning staff shitting and peeing all over the place, tennis court only for clay tennis shoes. We had not been told to do so but were allowed by the staff to use the court with normal tennis shoes.
The owner claimed ‘damage’ to the court and threatened to lock the door and call the police while we were out having lunch. On the last day, he said all these compromises were due to the discount – we didn’t pay enough. We had never asked for the discount to start with and had a lot other choices. We were forced to pay but couldn’t forget the email from him with all the f words.
It’s the worst nightmare that any vacation traveler will hope for.
